Meredith Scannell
PhD, MPH, CNM, SANE-A, CEN
Meredith Scannell is the founder and owner of the Boston Nursing Institute, shas over 20 years of nursing working globally in areas of critical care and women’s health. She holds an advanced nursing degree as a certified nurse-midwife and sexual assault nurse examiner and specializes in Aesthetic Medicine. Dr. Scannell is a nurse sceintist and earned her PhD at Northeastern University and research interest includes violence against women and emergency nursing. She holds a Master’s Degree in Public Health and became a Certified Nurse Midwife in 2006, earned a Master’s Degree in Nursing in 2008 and a PhD. As a forensic nurse, she has developed numerous courses on the topic of sexual assault and has testified numerous times.. She has published numerous articles in peer-review journals, as well as book publications. She has had numerous invited presentations in various nursing organizations locally, nationally, and internationally.
